This tool is designed to make the production of situation reports for bushfire incidents, primarily for submission via email. The generated output is in plain text, and will translate well into CAD/WebEOC comments.
The tool is suitable for Level 1 and Level 2 incidents, however it does not replace an IAP or IAP-Lite. It is intended for situation reporting only.
Most fields in the template permit free test. Fields with "..." also contain pre-canned options that can be selected. Only fields that have entries will be presented in the generated report.
Changes to the fields will be immediately updated in the Output text area, and changes to the Output will also be immediately imported into the form fields.
The "Email" button will take the current report and open a new email, using your default email program.
The "Copy" button will copy the contents of the Output field into your clipboard.
The "Print" button will produce a formatted output, suitable for printing or saving.
Laslty, this tool is a self contained html file. Feel free to save this page and use it locally - all of the required components and libraries are included within a single file and may be used offline.
